Christian Aid

Christian Aid works in over 70 countries, both alone and in partnership with other aid organizations. It aims to improve the quality of life of the poor in developing countries by helping them to help themselves. Projects include teaching farming methods, educating the poor, improving water supplies, the provision of medical treatment, and building construction. The charity also works in areas of emergency, including efforts for the provision of food, blankets, medical supplies, transport, and building materials, and for the support and resettlement of refugees. Funds are raised to support the projects, including door-to-door collections.
